Our Story

Rex Custom Metal is a Houston fabrication shop that does one thing: pulls tailgates off dead trucks and builds them into furniture people argue over.

Every piece starts in a Texas salvage yard. The gate gets stripped, straightened and blasted back to bare metal, welded onto a hand-built steel frame, powder-coated in whatever colour the build calls for, and finished with diamond-stitched upholstery. No two gates arrive the same, so no two pieces leave the same.

We build for garages, man caves, dealership showrooms, bars and living rooms — and we ship crated, nationwide.
